What is a text editor:

A text editor refers to any form of computer program that enables users to change text by adding, deleting and rearranging letters, words, sentences and paragraphs. The text can be styled using a range of controls in the editor. Text editing is the main operation users perform in word processors, which typically also handle graphics and other multimedia files.

Features and Functions of the New Text Editor:

• Mathematical formulas

Math equations are a fundamental part of many science and math courses. With our new math equation editor, our admins can now quickly type in their equations and have them appear correctly formatted in the document. The text editor in Easytest is a powerful tool that can be used to create mathematical expressions, equations, and characters. You can use it to write math formulas and equations. You can also use it to insert mathematical symbols, such as fractions or integrals. To insert a math formula or equation into a document, select the highlighted icon on the Ribbon (or press Ctrl+M/ Cmd+M). Type in your equation or formula and press Enter. Pressing the Edit formula button allows you to edit the math expression that you have just written. Another advantage is that you can also preview the equation simultaneously while you’re typing it.

• Media files

Media files are created with the needs of teachers in mind. It has an intuitive interface and is very easy to use. With the ability to insert them into any content with a few clicks, you can easily create the perfect story. You can easily add the desired visuals into the content within a few seconds. import images by clicking on the image icon, or by hitting the arrow sign next to it to insert an image’s url. You can also embed videos by pasting the video link to it and insert paragraphs before or after this block.

• Table

In this section, we will learn how to create a table. Tables are used to present data in rows and columns. To create a table, you need to click on the table icon and then use the text editor in which you can indicate how many rows and columns your table should consist of. You can also make a row or a column as a header, select, insert, delete them, as well as merging and splitting cells.

• Code block

The text editor is a great tool for students and teachers alike. It's a place where they can write code and learn the basics of programming languages. After clicking on the code icon, a pop-up will appear in which you can select from different programming languages the one you'd like to use. The text editor is generally used by programmers, but it can be used by anyone who wants to learn the basics of coding.
